Left Camp 9 at 8:30am. Today was soft snow with white out conditions navigating. It was a rum picnic with Eric on the compass (ice talk). We ended up over 25 kms best day so far! Starting to get a view of the mountains (Pensacola Mtns)
Starting to get into routine. Here it is, Wake up at 6 am start stoves, melt ice, snow, fill water bottles, make hot drinks, porridge or oats. Have drinks before you (2 1/2 litres) to hydrate, and then ski for 2 hrs. Snack and drink break, ski 1hr, drink, ski 1hr, lunch. Afternoon is ski 2hrs, snack, drink, ski 1hr, drink, ski 1hr then done. Soon as we get to camp we set up tents and then light stoves, melt snow for drinks and dinner. This takes us till 7:30-8pm. It was a hard day but a good day.
